How many things can ordinary people from different countries take away on their heads

Some peoples of Africa, Asia or southern Europe traditionally carry large and heavy luggage not in the hands, as we used to do, but on the head. It’s more convenient for them, they get tired less, as a result of which they can travel a considerable distance with the load.

Photographer from France, Floriane de Lassee (Floriane de Lassee), traveling around the world, always wondered when women or men who used her head to carry things passed by. A trip to Africa in 2012 made a special impression on the Frenchwoman, it was then that she wondered how much could be carried out in this way.

As a result, Florian decided to visit countries where the custom to carry objects on her head is especially widespread. She traveled to 15 regions of various countries - from East Africa to South America. A woman photographer simply approached the locals and found out from them how many things they could carry at a time. The answer was overwhelming. However, take a look for yourself, because the result of that trip was a grandiose series of photos, the reality of which is hard to even believe.
