How US First Lady Melania Trump Decorates the White House for Christmas

The American White House is ready to celebrate Christmas and New Year. 53 Christmas trees were decorated here, decorated with more than 12,000 various toys, 71 Christmas wreaths were hung, and more than 18,000 light bulbs were lit. Melanie Trump thought of Christmas design on her own. It's time to stroll around the White House and appreciate what magnificent beauty the wife of the 45th president of the United States managed to create!

Our first stop is the oval office, which for its traditional color is also called the blue hall. Important receptions and small dinners take place here, and a huge 5-meter-tall, decorated tree creates the Christmas atmosphere in the best way possible.

In the eastern part of the entrance hall, a whole coniferous “forest” appeared, covered with artificial snow.

Designed by the first lady, the design is dedicated to the long 200-year tradition of celebrating Christmas at the White House.

They thoroughly prepared for the holiday, because on the eve of Christmas thousands of visitors will visit the government house.

Over 150 people who voluntarily came to Washington from 29 states were engaged in decorating the main building of the country. In total, about 1,600 man-hours were spent on the scenery.

What a New Year without traditional sweets.

Among the largest rooms of the residence of the American president, the main favorite is the East Hall. It is intended for large gala dinners and concerts with a large number of participants.

But the cozy green room is a place perfect for tea parties.
