The Spanish photographer Diego Arroyo Mendes became the author of an amazing project, in which he made portraits of the inhabitants of the Ethiopian village. For thousands of years, these people have been living according to the same traditions, performing the same rituals. No matter what changes occur in the modern world, representatives of this tribe do not change their lifestyle, following the path that their ancestors paved.

It should be noted that the rite of initiation of the Hamar tribe is most impressive. During this ritual, the boy jumps over the bulls while his relatives are brutally beaten. They in turn sing and whistle in horns from bull horns.
