Monarch Car: Tesla's Russian response

Despite the fact that enough electric car models have already been created in the world, this type of transport has not gained popularity in Russia. Experts believe that this was due to the relatively high price and lack of a network of charging stations in most major cities of the country, which is associated with the initial stage of development of the electric car market in the country. They plan to rectify the situation by creating a new brand of the Russian electric car called "Monarch" (MONARH), which will have a number of features that distinguish it from foreign analogues.

Several companies and technical universities are engaged in the development of a new electric vehicle, among which are teams of scientists from St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Tomsk and other cities of the country. Of course, the engineers will resort to foreign experience, taking into service the best developments of European and American companies in the production of electric vehicles. The project provides not only the creation of a new generation car, but also the associated infrastructure for its comfortable operation.

It is planned that the Russian electric car will be cheaper than its foreign counterparts, which will allow it to compete with cars using traditional fuels. The creators promise to develop several models, from compact urban transport to an SUV. The batteries of the new model will be graphene-magnesium, which will provide greater battery capacity with the same weight compared to the more common lithium-ion batteries. It will be possible to charge dead batteries to full capacity in less than 4 minutes, and you can drive at least 500 kilometers on a single charge. Also, the model will be equipped with an electromagnetic suspension, which not only dampens shock, but also generates additional energy during movement. In addition, the car will be equipped with artificial intelligence with access to various traffic information necessary while driving.

Currently, active efforts are being made to attract investment and scientific personnel for the implementation of the project and it is planned that already in 2021 the first car will go off the assembly line.
