Fairy Valley Clay Castle - a truly fabulous place in Romania

Wherever you go in Romania, everywhere you can notice the presence of the romantic spirit of the Middle Ages. Many tourists love to visit Transylvania, because who has not heard the stories about the mysterious Count Dracula. However, now we would like to talk about one place that has nothing to do with this image, but which undoubtedly deserves attention. However, speaking of cleanliness, there are about 100 kilometers from here to Bran Castle, the famous monastery of the vampire count. But back to the hero of our story. The place bears the charming name "Fairy Valley Clay Castle", and one glance at it is enough to catch up with an irresistible desire to visit here.

Of course, this is not a real castle, but an eco-hotel built exclusively from natural materials: clay, wood, sand and straw. The establishment is located in the Fairy Valley in the village of Porumbasu de Sus, away from noise and civilization, surrounded by mountains, forests and fresh air. The bewitching appearance of the hotel with fabulous pitched roofs and massive wooden doors blends wonderfully into the surrounding landscapes, complementing them with even greater beauty and harmony.

The owners of Clay Castle are a married couple who have dreamed about such an institution all their lives. Finally, they decided to sell their housing in the city and make the dream a reality. So this small, cozy hotel appeared, consisting of only 10 rooms. Each of them has its own entrance, fireplace and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The guests will also not be hungry. A restaurant made from local and only natural products will delight you with healthy, delicious dishes.
