Scientists recreate the faces of people who lived centuries ago
When we want to see people from the "pre-photographic" past, we can only be content with their gloomy skeletal remains or barely detailed, highly subjective artistic images. Some artists try to rethink the face of famous queens and emperors or famous people of the Middle Ages, but their vision and imagination are limited by their own time. Nevertheless, technology has advanced to the point where we can use science to accurately depict how people in the past looked. Like they are alive today!
We found an interesting selection of various reconstructions of the exterior, which give us an idea of the great historical figures.
